CHALLENGE
Leading big box retailer wasn't satisfied with the packaging from any manufacturer in the water filtration category and challenged our client to come up with a more consumer-friendly solution.
STRATEGY
While this do-it-yourself category was primarily installed by men, women played a key role in the decision and purchase process. Therefore, we took more of a fashion-based approach to the packaging, in order to appeal more directly to women without alienating the male audience.
RESULTS
Buyer reported that associates were having a hard time trying to keep the shelves stocked.
